Hyd realtors propose recommendations to TS RERA Chairman

Hyderabad Trade body, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Telangana held an interactive session with the Chairman of Telangana RERA (Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), Dr N Satyanarayana, in Hyderabad. The session was organised for the key stakeholders of the sector to discuss the issues faced by the real estate industry in the State.
Speakers at the session included Maheep Singh Thapar, Member, CII Telangana Infra and Real Estate Panel and Managing Director, Adapt Technologies; V Rajashekar Reddy, president, CREDAI Hyderabad; B Suneelchandra Reddy, president, NAREDCO Telangana, and Saurabh Tyagi, Chief Executive Officer, PropChk Home Inspection Services.
In his welcoming address, C Shekar Reddy, Chairman, CII Telangana and CMD, CSR Estates Ltd, highlighted that the real estate industry in Telangana has experienced significant growth following the implementation of government policies. He emphasised that Telangana's regulations are viewed as a successful model, even in Delhi, and discussed the collaborative efforts of CII and other Associations in creating affordable and environmentally sustainable housing.
Addressing the session, Dr N Satyanarayana emphasised on the department's commitment to shorten the period in registration procedure. He urged the Associations to hold more such interactions with realtors to find solutions for the problems put forward by builders. Additionally, he shared that the RERA team has conducted learning visits to urbanised cities and is now in the process of applying successful case studies in Telangana. He stressed that the objective of TS RERA is to facilitate comprehensive urban development in the city.
